Utilizing the basic principles of design and heavily relying on the mediums of wood and fiber, I discovered that the meaning of a word could be drastically changed. By choosing the format of a poster to display this, I developed three unique pieces that worked to show the definition of the word "create." As each of the posters retained similar design elements, their physical qualities worked to change the meaning of the word. In essence, creating a physical translation of the phrase "it's not what you say, but how you say it."
