Local Undiscovered was created out of a need to bring awareness to Detroit's local community and surroundings, where in a big city, many great places are often undiscovered. In an attempt to call attention to some of these great locations, I developed a system of repurposed, lithographic printed maps to help make their discovery feel more like a treasure hunt. With 60 individual maps, all of which contain the Detroit area, were hand printed with markers and text to call out specific locations and a QR to point to an accompanying website.
