Local Undiscovered was created out of the need to bring awareness to the local community and surroundings. Detroit is a very large city, and many great places are often undiscovered. So in an attempts to inform and share some of these great locations with others, Cate Thomson, a graphic design senior at the College for Creative Studies, developed a system of maps to help get the word out there.

The maps themselves, were printed on Detroit atlas and road maps using lithography. For more information on the process behind this project, check out the creator's process blog.
